Wrapped on the indie feature ‘Lucky 7′

Robert Nolan is Lucky 7’s bar-owning brother Brian Farley in the indie feature film ‘Lucky 7‘ which has just finished principal photography. Given up for dead, Patrick Farley (Lucky 7) (played by Phillipe Buckland) returns home to pay a gambling debt to the mob but finds he’s been framed for murder. His luck’s run dry…so he makes his own, and it becomes a dangerous game filled with sex, drugs, violence and betrayal. Can he hold on to the beauty he also finds waiting for him here in the heart of this broken down city…and follow its path back home? Written and directed by Stephen Hayes. Also starring Rachel MacMillan (Julia), Julian Nicholson (Alan), Jane Smyth (Sharon) and Michael Quigley (Alex).

Sheridan 3×3 Contest Short film ‘Suicide Sonnet’

Robert Nolan is the homicidal poet Chuck in ‘Suicide Sonnet‘, a short film directed by Rohan Joseph in Sheridan College’s annual 3×3 film contest. Christian Lattman co-stars as an equally deranged, but eloquent, poet with murder in mind. Many scripts are submitted but only 3 are selected (by popularity), then 3 versions of each script are produced. This is the one I’m in. You can also see all 12 short contest films, including the other two versions of this script.

Robert Nolan attended a class in episodic television audition technique led by ‘Mayday‘ director George D’Amato with casting director Crystal Kramer of Crystal Casting. ‘Mayday’ is in its sixth season and runs on Discovery Channel.

Robert Nolan is the French Lieutenant in Black Fawn Film’s award-winning short ‘Lost’ - French Revolution’ directed by Martin Buzora for Coldplay’s ‘Lost’ music video contest (over 700 entries - ‘Best Live Action Short’ - 2nd place winner overall). Peter Higginson is the lead in this moving drama.

Cast as ‘Brick’ in ‘Restaurant Etiquette’

Robert Nolan has been cast as Brick in and Paul Nicholls as Lee in ‘Restaurant Etiquette’, a short comedy on HD directed by Bruce Clement of Motivated Films to be shot April 13, 2008. ‘Two actor friends who haven’t seen each other for years meet over an elegant dinner. Their attempts to hide the state of their languishing careers from each other escalates into a bitter feud with disastrous consequences.’
